It’s a long story, spanning mostly between Italy and Canada but including the USA, Northern Europe and other parts of the Northern Emisphere for shorter periods of time.

Now I’m back in Italy and I don’t travel much anymore… sort of… I work 60 Km away from home and drive back and forth almost every day through freeways, urban and rural areas, even dirt roads, sometimes. It’s mostly ordinary scenes but when fog, frost, rain, snow and clouds set in, even the most common landscape can become a magic wonderland. That’s why I always carry a reflex in the car and a compact in the pocket… Therefore most of my recent pictures are taken around Reggio Emilia, Modena and Bologna with some rare exceptions when on vacation…
